Ms. Kilgore was born in Huntington, West Virginia and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1978 coming from Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
She worked for St. Lucie Battery & Tire and was a member at Orange Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Christine Robinson, of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, Emmanuel Garrett, of Ft. Pierce, FL and Nicholas Garrett, of Ft. Myers, FL; sisters, Linda, Harriett and Jeanne; brothers, Raymond Jenks and Claude Chase and 16 grandchildren.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Treasure Coast, 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997.
Services: Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from 6-8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 11 AM at Haisley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
