Santia Myriah Feketa, 18, died February 6, 2018 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Santia was born in Port St. Lucie, Florida and resided in Fort Pierce, Florida.

She graduated from Fort Pierce Central High School with honors along with her Associates degree in Elementary Education from Indian River State College. Santia was heavily involved in many volunteer activities within the community focusing on special needs children including: Special Olympics with Destiny Bound Stables, school volunteer at Fairlawn and was a Peer Pal in Martin County.

Santia was a smart, beautiful, and amazing young woman with the highest morale character. Above all she truly always spoke in a manner of family first which was not just love but in respect to all of her family. She was a devoted child of God who not only talked about Christ but truly believed and it was reflected in the way she lived. Santia loved and cared about every person she met always looking for the goodness in them. Her short life was lived with a passion for helping children and a love of all animals. Her dream was to become a teacher of children. She was taken from this world long before anyone could have imagined leaving behind many broken hearts.

Survivors include her father, Stewart Michael (Marcie) Feketa of Fort Pierce, FL; mother, Stacy Lynne West of Jensen Beach, FL; sister, Siera Lynne Feketa of Jensen Beach, FL; brother, Zachary Holden Edmonds of Fort Pierce, FL; grandfather, Michael West of Fort Pierce, FL; grandmother, Roberta West of Fort Pierce, FL; grandmother, Terry Wood of Port St. Lucie, FL; aunt, Krysten (Michael) Bieger of Port St. Lucie, FL; uncles, Kevin Siniscarco, Steven Hoffman, and Scott Hoffman all of Utica, NY, David (Rebecca) Rowlands of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Robert (Katie) Edmonds of Clearwater, FL and several loving cousins and friends.

A scholarship has been established in Santia's name at IRSC. Donations (please note Santia Feketa in the correspondence) can be made to IRSC Foundation Office at 3209 Virginia Avenue Fort Pierce, FL 34981.

Services: Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 4-7 PM at Calvary Chapel, 5555 NW St. James Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983. A service will be held on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
