It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Sean Robert Ewan, 45, on March 30, 2023, in Orlando Florida.
Sean was born February 20, 1978, in Vero Beach, Florida. He grew up in Fort Pierce, Fl, moving to Orlando in 2001. Sean graduated from John Carroll High School, class of 1996. From a young age, Sean found a love of cooking and began working at Chuck’s Seafood at 15. He went on to graduate as a chef from the Florida Culinary Art Institute. Sean’s strong work ethic and genuine joy of working with people kept him in the service industry until the time of his passing, as he was employed by Café TuTu Tangos. The service industry introduced Sean to almost all the people he held closest to his heart, including his wife, Adrienne, whom he married in 2011. Sean’s greatest accomplishment was in August of 2006, when he became a father to Noah.
Sean was a passionate soul. He was a devoted husband to Adrienne Ewan, father to Noah, and stepfather to Derrek. He was a loyal friend, as can be witnessed in the friendships he developed as a child and carried through his entire life. Sean led an adventurous lifestyle and was always ready to experience something new with his signature smile on his face. Growing up in Fort Pierce engrained in Sean a love of everything water related including diving, boating, surfing, wake surfing, and especially fishing. When Sean would come home, you could easily find him either near the water or with his family, his preference being both. Sean was a loving son, a caring big brother, and true joy for his aunts, uncles, cousins, niece & nephews.
Sean will be deeply missed by his friends and family. His smile will live in our minds, and we’ll hear his infectious laugh as we reminisce about his adventures and kind heart for the rest of our lives.
Sean is survived by his wife, Adrienne Ewan of Orlando, FL; son, Noah Ewan of Oceanside, CA; stepson, Derrek Johnson of Portland, OR; mother, Mimi Ewan of Fort Pierce, FL; father, Robert Ewan of Trenton, FL; sister, Kristin (Erik) Blanton of Fort Pierce, FL; aunts, Rita (Graham) Stikelether of Brays Island, SC and Karen (Jim) Huck of Fort Pierce, FL; nieces and nephews, Kaitlyn, Austin, and Ethan Blanton; and great-nephew, Grady Hunter Flynn.
