Selma C. Manley

Selma Carver Manley, 78, of Fort Pierce, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 4, 2008.She was born September 22, 1929, in McDowell County, NC to the late John Henry Carver and Millie Effler Carver.She was preceded in death by her husband, William Harrison Manley, and a sister, Francis Manley. She leaves behind to cherish her memory two sisters, Bonnie Lanning of Old Fort, NC and Ruby Edgeman of Hammond, LA; four children, Joyce Creasman, Ashleigh Lindley and George Manley (wife Carolyn) of Old Fort, NC, Edith Johnson (husband Lester) of Fort Pierce, FL; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Visitation will be Tuesday, January 8th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, with a Service to follow at 11:00 AM at the Haisley Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
