Sheila Byrne Fennelly, 55, died December 24, 2003, in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands.Mrs. Fennelly was a resident of Palm City, Florida, for 4 years coming from Stuart. She and her family moved to the Treasure Coast in 1978 from Orlando, Florida.Mrs. Fennelly was active in Florida with the Right to Life Organization and several Florida child advocate groups, served as Legislative Aide to Senator Ken Pruitt, was a devoted wife and mother and loving grandmother.Survivors include her husband of 35 years John E. Fennelly of Palm City, Florida; daughter, Kerry Anne Feehery of Washington, D.C.; sons, Padraic Byrne of Arlington, Virginia and Sean E. Fennelly of Tallahassee, Florida; sisters, Maureen Gannon of Chicago, Illinois, Margaret O’Keefe of Parkridge, Illinois, Mary Kay Dunn of Parkridge, Illinois, Patty Ann Cox of Palatine, Illinois and Theresa Sobucki of Geneva, Illinois; brothers, John Byrne of Evanston, Illinois and Thomas Byrne of Mt. Prospect, Illinois; and four grandchildren.
