Sheila Gonzalez, 69, died July 21, 2010 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Gonzalez was born in Sussex, New Jersey and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1978 coming from Jasper, Alabama.
She attended Marshall University and was the office manager at Dr. Rogelio Gonzalez-Pena’s Medical Office. She was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church and was a very involved mother.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Dr. Rogelio Gonzalez-Pena of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughter, Polita (Chris) Lee of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, Rogelio (Andrea) Gonzalez of Ft. Pierce, FL, Antonio (Carolina) Gonzalez of Orlando, FL and Juan Gonzalez of Ft. Pierce, FL; and 5 grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetic Association, 1101 North Lake Destiny Road #415, Maitland, FL 32751.
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, July 23, 2010 from 4-8 PM with a Wake Service at 7:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 1:00 PM at St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
