SHERRY LEDBETTER
SHERRY LEDBETTER, of Port St. Lucie, Florida has passed at the age of 69 on October 6, 2012.
Mrs. Ledbetter was born on April 18, 1943 in Kalamazoo, Michigan and relocated to Port St. Lucie in 1987, after living in Gainesville, Florida. She was the League Coordinator and Youth Director at SuperPlay USA in Port St. Lucie. Sherry served on the USBC board of directors and was inducted in to USBC’s “Hall of Fame” in 2009/2010 for Meritorious Service. She could be found at the bowling center any given day, actively participating in organizing leagues, scheduling tournaments, and running fundraisers to help pay for the youth bowler’s “her kids”, as she called them, bowling activities.
She is survived by one daughter, Michelle McNamara, of Port St. Lucie, FL; two sons, Robert Ledbetter III, of Fort Pierce, FL; David Ledbetter of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter in law, Elizabeth Ledbetter, of Fort Pierce, FL; one sister, Regina Collins of Keller, TX; one brother, William Schreuder of Port St. Lucie, FL; four granddaughters, Lauren McNamara, Amanda Ledbetter, Meghan McNamara, and Autum Ledbetter; and one grandson, Raymond McNamara. Sherry was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Robert Paul Ledbetter, Jr.; her parents, William Schreuder and Virginia Stevens-Schreuder, and her sister and best friend, Carol Haiduk.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 11:00AM with visitation at 10:00AM at Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service, 3015 Okeechobee Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34947. A celebration of life will be held at SuperPlay USA, 1600 NW Courtyard Circle; Port St. Lucie, FL directly after the service.
