Mrs. Smoot was born in Gloversville, New York and moved to Ft. Pierce in 2005 coming from Vero Beach, Florida.
She was employed by Florida Shutters. She enjoyed fishing, karaoke, going to the beach, and was learning to play golf.
Survivors include her spouse, Theodore Smoot of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters, Jolene Garcia of Texas and Summerlee Reid of North Carolina; son, Trae Devon Reid of Texas; mother, Arlene Borrero of Florida; sister, Arlene Reid of Florida; brothers, Thomas Reid of California and LeRoy Reid of New York. She was preceded in death by her father, LeRoy Reid, sister, Lynn Dinger, and brother, Timothy Reid.
Services: A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 from 1-3 PM at Spanish Lakes Country Club.
