Shirley Elizabeth Smith, 83, died May 18, 2007 in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.Mrs. Smith was born in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1953 coming from Calais, ME.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen Howell of Ringold, GA; sons, Carl Smith of Acworth, GA and Daivd Smith of Ft. Pierce, FL; brothers, Arnold Davis of Presque Isle, ME and Henry Davis of Lake City, FL; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Treasure Coast, 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997.A family Memorial Gathering was conducted Saturday, May 19, 2007 with Brother Jeff Minor of Southside Christian Church officiating. Further services will be conducted at Calais Cemetery in Calais, ME. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Services.
