Shirley Ann Lynch, 83, died March 4, 2020 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mrs. Lynch was born in Calhoun, Georgia and moved to Port St. Lucie in 2014 coming from Pensacola, Florida.
She heavily favored the south and would tell stories of her family fighting in the Civil War. Her uncles and grandfather have their Red Badge of Courage. She met her husband, Edward, in Jacksonville while she was in college and he was in the Navy; they were both born same year, same month and just minutes apart from one another.
Shirley was a very feisty, tough southern lady who loved reading, her family, the ocean, golfing and traveling.
Survivors include her sons, Jerry T. Lynch of Fort Pierce, FL; daughter, Sheree Pittman of Ohio; sisters, Marjorie Weiss and Josephine Terry; brother, James Gilbreath; 7 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Lonnie Lynch, husband, Edward T. Lynch and sister, Eunice Woods.
