Stanley J. Wrobleski, 78, died on May 4, 2009 at a local nursing facility in Fort Pierce.
Mr. Wrobleski was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1938.
Stan retired as a Master Sergeant with the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service. He played the trombone in the U.S. Air Force Academy Band. He graduated from Fort Pierce High School, Class of 49, attended the University of Miami and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Ft. Pierce. Stan was a master woodcrafter in his spare time.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Mary Taylor Wrobleski; children, Anne Marie Smith of Colorado Springs, CO, Stanley “Ski” Wrobleski of Calhan, CO, Cindy McCrary of Calhan, CO, Beth Landry of Marietta, GA, Lynn Roberts of Ft. Pierce, FL, Earliene Smith of Ft. Pierce, FL, Gary Roberts of Fort Myers, FL; sister, Patricia Brown of Ft Pierce, FL; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
