Stanley Thomas Polanski
Stanley Thomas Polanski, 78, died September 4, 2009 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Polanski was born in Poland and immigrated in 1938 to Detroit, Michigan. He worked for General Motors for 36 years and upon his retirement in 1987, relocated to Port St. Lucie. Mr. Polanski was an active member of St. Lucie Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Apolonia & Joseph Polanski; his wife, Genevieve Polanski; son, Erin Polanski; brother, Edmund Polanski; and sister, Jeanette Guerty.
Survivors include his son, Thomas Polanski of Portland, OR; daughters, Valerie Polanski of Sterling Heights, MI, Karen Polanski of Whitmore Lake, MI and Cheryl Royer of Chanhassen, MN; 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at a later date in Michigan. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
