Stephanie Nichole Barsoum, 35, of Port Saint Lucie Florida, passed away October 7th, 2019.
Stephanie was born in Pahokee, Florida to Kerry Faunce and Opal “Dyan” Taylor. Stephanie was lucky enough to be raised with an additional Dad, James Brandon or “Pops” as she liked to call him.
An aspiring Veterinarian Pharmacist, Stephanie graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a bachelor’s degree in science. She later attended Palm Beach Atlantic University where she obtained her PHD. She was employed as the lead pharmacist with Walmart from 2016 until present and enjoyed helping people. Along with her many educational accomplishments she enjoyed volunteering with animal rescue centers like PSCA and walking the March of Dimes each year to raise awareness. Her upmost favorite thing to do was to spend time with her dogs, Riley and Kian and go to the beach.
She is survived by her brothers, Chance Brandon and Timothy Smith of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; sister, Leighanne Cook of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; step mother, Terri Faunce; maternal grandmother, Charlene Smith; paternal grandmothers, Virginia Douglas and Hannah Brandon; uncles, John Taylor of Orlando, Florida, Joe Smith of Cape Coral, Florida, Ernest Brandon of Jacksonville, Florida, and Martin Raup of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; aunts, Janice Collier Raup of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, and Linda Collier of Orlando, Florida; cousins, Laura Naples and Beth Czaplicki and niece, KK and nephew, Jacob.
She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Ories Douglas, Vernon Smith, and William Brandon.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 13th from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Haisley Funeral Home, 3015 Okeechobee Road in Fort Pierce, Florida, with a reception to follow.
