Mrs. Ritz was born in Irvington, New Jersey and was a resident of Fort Pierce, Florida for over 45 years.
She was an office manager. She was a horticulturist, an extreme animal activist and was also an avid bear collector.
Survivors include her husband, George Ritz of Ft. Pierce, FL; stepson, Sean Ritz of Orlando, FL; stepdaughter, Crissy Ritz of Port St. Lucie, FL; sister, Alicia White of Green Acres, FL; brother, Don Kula of West Palm Beach, FL. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence Barnes, mother & father, Delores & Edward Kula and stepmother, Frances Kula.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Heathcote Botanical Gardens, 210 Savannah Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34982.
Services: A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 6:00 PM at Heathcote Botanical Gardens.
