Stephen Joseph “Steve” Armento

The Lord called him home on October 16, 2019 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mr. Armento was born in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania and moved to Fort Pierce 4 ½ years ago.

Steve trained at the JNA Institute of Culinary Arts and received his toque in June 2010. He subsequently published a cookbook. He enjoyed cooking for a crowd; the bigger, the better. He also enjoyed spending time with his family in Ocean City, NJ and on vacations. In his younger days, Steve was a volunteer firefighter and EMT. He also worked as a tech in the Dialysis Center at St. Mary's Medical Center in Langhorne, PA.

At the time of his death, he worked as a health insurance agent. Steve was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Fort Pierce. He loved the beach, helping others and loved life to the fullest.

Survivors include his mother, Jovina Armento; sisters, Diane Armento-Feliz and Susan Bahner; brothers-in-law, Greg Feliz and Martin Bahner; nieces and nephews, Kathryn, Andrew, Matthew, Gina, Michael, and Stephanie. He was preceded in death by his father, Raphael Armento.
