Stephen Charles Dolingo, Jr.
Stephen Charles Dolingo, Jr., 73, died October 14, 2024 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Dolingo was born in Queens, New York on April 8, 1951 to Stephen & Doris Dolingo.
Stephen was a self-employed professional truck driver. Stephen traveled throughout the country most of his career. During the latter part of his career, he drove local to be closer to home and spend more time with family.
He was a devout Christian, most recently attending Calvary Port St. Lucie, the Lord encompassed his daily life. Stephen prayed daily for those who did not know the Lord and encouraged them to open their hearts, minds and soul to the Lord.
He was a devoted father and grandfather, Stephen enjoyed quality time with family, particularly playing cards and games and doing puzzles. Stephen enjoyed going for drives, stopping at auto and military museums and sitting by jetties. He loved his Chevy cars, his first one being a (65 or there about) Chevy convertible all the way through to his last one being a Chevy Equinox. Stephen also enjoyed old-time country and southern gospel music. He was an easy-going & loving husband who was always eager to help.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Jenkins Dolingo of Fort Pierce, FL; sisters, Susan Dolingo of West Palm Beach, FL, and Debbie O’Reilly-Brenton of Midlothian, VA; stepchildren, Cheryl (Steve) Mohr of Port St. Lucie, FL, Rob (Amber) Mitchell of Gainesville, FL, and Kimberly (Rod) Bradley of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Harper and Kemper Ward, Megan (Jason) Wilhelm, and Kasie and Alex Robinson; great-grandchildren, Riley, Addison, and Reese.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Dolingo (Otterbeck), father, Steve Dolingo, and brother, Andrew Dolingo.
He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 1-4 PM at Steven and Cheryl Mohr's residence .
