Mr. Sutherlin was born in Lafayette, Indiana and moved to Port Saint Lucie in 2009 coming from West Palm Beach, Florida.
Stephen was a self employed electrician. He was a Private 1st class in the United States Marines, and in 1968 he was stationed in Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Juanita Sutherlin of Port Saint Lucie, FL; daughter, Holley M. Sutherlin of Port Saint Lucie, FL; grandson, Rollin E. Sutherlin of Lake Placid, FL, granddaughter, Rhiannon E. Sutherlin of Lake Placid and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Celebration will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Sutherlin home in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
