Stephon E. Baker, 49, died October 8, 2011 in Ft. Pierce, FL.
Mr. Baker was born in Bluefield, West Virginia and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1962.
He worked in the construction industry for over 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and stockcar races. Stephon loved to come to the VA Clinic everyday where his wife was employed and made coffee for the veterans and staff.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Gayle Baker, of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughter, Ashley Scarbrough, of Ft. Pierce, FL; sisters, Delores Hunter, of Port St. Lucie, FL, Amy Mullins and Tina Heffernan, both of Ft. Pierce, FL; brothers, Ronnie Baker, David Baker, James Baker and Robert Baker, all of Ft. Pierce, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Baker and Ethel Dickerson Baker and brothers, Wayne and Doug Baker.

Services: A visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, 2011 from 3:00-5:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 5:00 PM.
