Steve was born in Vero Beach, Florida, and was a life-long resident of Fort Pierce.
He was a commercial fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Michelle Anderson of Fort Pierce, FL; sons, Steve Joel Anderson, Jr., of Lowell, MA, Nathan Anderson and Douglas Anderson both of Fort Pierce, FL, Loren Hopkins, Jr. of Fort Pierce, Fl; daughters, Sheray Shardy of Tampa, FL, Heather Anderson of Fort Pierce, FL and Jessica Leavesley of Vero Beach, FL; father, Charles Anderson and mother, Mary Anderson; brothers, Chuck Anderson, Mark Anderson and Michael Anderson all of Fort Pierce, FL; sister, Barbara Schneider of Fort Pierce, FL; and 8 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his sister, Lydia Anderson and brother, Paul Anderson.
Services: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 2:00 PM at JC Park, Fort Pierce, Florida.
