Steven Gergely, 71, passed away September 3, 2020 in Fort Pierce, FL.
Steven was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey and has lived in Fort Pierce for 30 years.
He was a veteran of the United States Army. Steven worked in the auto parts industry while he lived here on the Treasure Coast, most recently working in auto parts delivery. In his early years he enjoyed boating, sailing, golfing, and he dabbled in line dancing.
Survivors include his brother, Stuart Gergely (Gail), of DeBary, FL and sister, Edwina Shapiro (Charles), of New Jersey. He was preceded by his parents, Andrew and Charlotte Gergely and sister, Andrea Pelyak.
Services: A gathering will be on Sunday, September 27th from 2-3PM with a memorial service to follow at 3 PM at the Haisley Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Pierce. Those unable to attend may sign a guest book at www.haisleyfuneralhome.com
