Steven Weinberg

Steven Weinberg, 78, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away peacefully December 5, 2023.

Steve was born June 9, 1945 in Providence, Rhode Island. He married Barbara Hadfield February 12, 1967 at Temple Beth El in Providence, Rhode Island after graduating Hope High School. He took Mechanical Drafting at RISD in Rhode Island. After serving in the Air National Guard he went to work at I.B.M as a Customer Engineer. He worked in both Rhode Island and Florida.

Steve served his community in Coral Springs, FL as a Volunteer Firefighter. Steve loved boating, gardening, and driving his Corvette. Steve also played with bowling leagues in both Rhode Island and Florida. 

Survivors include wife of 56 years, Barbara of Port St. Lucie, FL; son, Jeffrey A Weinberg and sister, Linda (James) Hines of Goldsboro, NC. He is predeceased by his father, Meyer Weinberg and mother, Zelda Reffkin.

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 3PM to 5PM with a service to be held at 2PM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34984.
