Susan Alise Brogan, 52, died August 27, 2011 in Stuart, Florida.
Susan was born in Fort Walton Beach, Florida and moved to Port St. Lucie in 1974 coming from Kentucky.
She taught for 16 years at Palm Vista Church of God and 2 years at Bible Baptist Church, attended Grace Emanuel Church in Port St. Lucie where she enjoyed praising and worshiping the Lord, was an avid scrap booker, and enjoyed going to family sporting events.
Survivors include her husband, of 34 years, Jeff Brogan of Port St. Lucie, FL; sons, Jason (Rebecca) Brogan of Gainesville, FL, Jared (Brie) Brogan and Jeremiah (Heather) Brogan both of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Jenny Brogan of Port St. Lucie, FL; brother, Larry (Evonne) Highley, Jr. of Montgomery, AL; sister, Heather (Darin) Howie of Ft. Pierce, FL; mother, Sharon Highley of Ft. Pierce, FL; 5 grandchildren, Kelsey, Josh, Elijah, Hailey, and Austin. She was preceded in death by her father Larry Highley.
Services: A visitation will be held Tuesday August 30, 2011 from 5-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be held Wednesday August 31, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Northside Christian Fellowship. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
