Susan Durante Cox, 61, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2020 in Stuart, Florida.
Susan was born on September 27, 1958 in Horn Lake, Mississippi and then found her forever home in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
She was married to Travis for 6 wonderful years and he was the love of her life. Susan was an animal lover, loved fairies, Tinkerbell and dreamcatchers. She was a compassionate person, a beloved foster mother, stepmother, grandma and memaw.
Susan devoted her life to helping others, was a registered nurse, she worked in the NICU to infectious diseases as well as a hospice home health wound care nurse. She always strived to go above and beyond her duties and she knew no boundaries on love.
Survivors include; stepdaughter, Diane (Mike) Murray of Tequesta, FL., William James (Amy) Enriquez of West Palm Beach, FL; foster children, Robert Morales of Fort Pierce, FL., Caitlyn McMinn of Vero Beach, FL., Jason Fox of Manhattan, NY, Matthew Fox of Port St. Lucie, FL., Daniel Fox of West Palm Beach, FL, grandchildren, Madeline Murray of Tequesta, FL, Meagan Murray of Tequesta, FL., Michael Murray of Tequesta, FL., Rose Morales of Fort Pierce, FL., Matthew Murray of Tequesta, FL., Emma Ives of Fort Pierce, FL., Violette Morales of Fort Pierce, FL. and Miles Murray of Tequesta, FL.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Rolling Oaks Cemetery in Port St. Lucie, FL.
