Susan Dian Dreier Culverhouse
Susan Dian Dreier Culverhouse, 65, died January 20, 2015 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Culverhouse was born in Meridian, Mississippi on September 16th, 1949 and while growing up lived abroad in West Berlin, Germany; Yokohama, Japan; Beirut, Lebanon and Caracas, Venezuela. Following her graduation from high school in Ardsley, New York in 1967, she attended Florida State University in Tallahassee. Following her 1971 graduation from FSU with a B.A. Degree in Marketing Management and Fashion Merchandising, she moved to Fort Pierce and on March 31st, 1972, she married Fort Pierce native Brad Culverhouse.
She was a member of the Westside Baptist Church, Pelican Yacht Club, FSU Alumni Association, St. Lucie Historical Society, Inc., A.E. Backus Museum & Gallery, Southeast Florida Archaeological Society, New England Genealogical Society, the General Society of Mayflower Descendants and was a past Treasurer of the Isaac Allerton Colony of the Society of Mayflower Descendants in Florida.
Survivors include her husband, Brad Culverhouse of Fort Pierce, FL; son, John B. Culverhouse, Jr., of Fort Pierce, FL; brother, Donald W. Dreier, Jr. of Pittsburgh, PA; and sister, Elizabeth Ann Dreier of Jackson, MS. She was preceded in death by her father, Col. Donald W. Dreier, Sr., mother, Lyla Ulmer Dreier and brother, USMC Capt. Henry Bryan Dreier and by her Mayflower Pilgrim ancestors, John Alden and Priscilla Mullins.

Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Westside Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park and a reception in Celebration of Susan’s Life will follow at the Pelican Yacht Club in Fort Pierce at 1:00 PM.
