Susan N. Durbin, age 82, died August 29, 2014 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
She was born February 21, 1932 in Okeechobee, Florida to George and Ruth Futch. She has been a resident of Fort Pierce for the last 80 years.
Susan retired after 21 years of dedicated service with the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office with her last position of bailiff at the courthouse. She also enjoyed canning and sewing.
She is survived by her son; Jimmy Holley of Maryland, daughters; Wunda Kight of Suffolk, VA and Victoria Mahar of Fort Pierce, FL, brother; George V. Futch of Maryland. In addition she is survived by her grandson Gary Pixley and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Louis Durbin.
