Sylvia D. Albrecht, 86, of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away in Port Saint Lucie with her family.
Sylvia was born on December 4, 1934 to Fredrick and Easter Lau in Farmington, Minnesota. She was raised in Farmington, graduating from Farmington High School.
After high school, she married Darrell Albrecht and they lived in Belview, Illinois; Glendive, Montana; Farmington, Minnesota; Carmel, Indiana, before settling in Port Saint Lucie, Florida in 1973. Sylvia was a stay-at-home mom and housewife, who also worked at a vet’s office, a jewelry store, a florist shop, and a children’s boutique. She loved gardening and animals.
Survivors include children, Rita Waters of Fort Pierce, Florida, Deanna Chibas of Port St. Lucie, Florida, and Kevin Albrecht of Fort Pierce, Florida; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded by husband, Darrell Albrecht; son, Craig Albrecht; grandson, Caleb Albrecht, parents, Fredrick and Easter Lau and brother, Marvin Lau.

Burial will take place at White City Cemetery on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 1PM.
