Survivors include his sisters, Rhonda Barlan, Yolonda Adams both of Cambridge, OH and Gale Lavigne of Vero Beach, FL; brothers, David Melton of Hot Springs, AK and Dale Melton of Vero Beach, FL; mother, Thelma Melton of Cambridge, OH. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bo Melton.
