Theodore “Ted” Bonham, 81, passed away January 6, 2016 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Ted moved to Port Saint Lucie, Florida in 1992 coming from Hammond, Indiana.
Mr. Bonham was employed with National Can Company for 35 years. He was a life member of the VFW Post 1563 of Merrillville, Indiana and the American Legion Post 318 of Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Ted served with the United States Navy during The Korean War on the U.S.S. Caperton DD-650. He received the Korean Servicee Medal, Navy Occupation Service Medal, United Nations Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.
Survivors include wife of 59 years, Patricia Bonham of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; son, John and Cindy Bonham of Gary, Indiana; daughter, Tami Voyles of Winona, Missouri; grandchildren, Colby and Jodi Voyles, Beau and Nicole Voyles, Christy and Kyle Sellers; great-grandchildren, Kambree Voyles and Jewels Sellers.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post # 318 of Port Saint Lucie, Florida in support of their work for homeless Veterans.
