Theodore James Johnson

October 4, 1925 — September 9, 2007

Mr. Johnson was born in Middlesex, New Jersey and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1988, from Lancaster, Pennsylvania.He was the owner of Johnson’s Dairy, New Jersey, District Manger of Frito Lay, Inc., for South Central Pennsylvania, and later President of Availability, Inc., and Avail-A-Temp, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
He was a Cadet in the Air Corps and graduated from Flying School as a fighter pilot. Mr. Johnson served as President of the National Association of Personnel Consultants, was the President of the Lancaster Lions Club, Member of Mason Lodge #43 in Lancaster, and a member of the Hamilton Club of Lancaster. He is also a member of the Indian River Presbyterian Church and was active on the boards of many churches.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Audrey W. Johnson, of Ft. Pierce FL; daughter, Jill J. (Ronald) Wimer of Lancaster, PA; grand-daughters; Stephanie Wimer fiance of Cliff Rampaul, Davenport, Fl., Brittany Wimer, and grand-son, Kyle Wimer, Lancaster, PA.; sisters, Eva Frech, Charlotte, SC, Edith Johnson, Indiatlantic, FL, Sarah (Richard) Miller, Deltona, FL, and several nieces. He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey L. Johnson.Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL or to the Alzheimer & Parkinson Association of Indian River County, 2501 27th Avenue, Suite, A-8 Vero Beach, FL 32960.Services: A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Indian River Presbyterian Church.
