Theodore Leon “Ted” Fowler, Sr., 85, died February 1, 2012 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Fowler was born in Ticonderoga, New York and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1979 from Vermont.
He retired from Smith Buick in Rutland, Vermont and then retired from Sunrise Ford, Ft. Pierce. He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Ft. Pierce and he loved to fish and travel.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Alice Fowler of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters, Amy Gould of Ft. Pierce, FL, Doreen Lonergan of West Rutland, VT, and Patricia Bryant of Altamonte Springs, FL; sons, Jeffrey Fowler of Rutland, VT and Theodore Fowler, Jr. of Bomoseen, VT; sisters, Mary Fuller of Ft. Pierce, FL, Dorothy Lussier of Findley, OH, Eva Ellis of Glens Falls, NY and Millicent Sheldrick of West Haven, VT; 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Congregational Church, 3601 Kirby Loop Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.
Services: A memorial service will be held at the First Congregational Church on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 10:00 AM at First Congregational Church, Ft. Pierce.
