Theophilus "Theo" A. Thomas

Theophilus A. Thomas (“Theo”) passed away June 21, 2023 in Port St. Lucie, FL. Theo was born April 28, 1938 to Charlie Matthews and Henrietta Thomas in St. Kitts British West Indies. 

Theophilus and Rona  were wed on December 23, 1965 in St. Kitts. Theo was proud of his work with the Virgin Island Housing Authority in which he committed a great deal of his time in past years. 

Theo was a Master Craftsman, he especially loved carpentry, plumbing and gardening. Most importantly, he loved his family and was devoted to taking care of them.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Rona; loving children, Carleene Thomas , Lorna Thomas, Adolphus Thomas, Cordell Thomas Sr, Joyce Thomas-Letang, Donna Bradshaw, Andrea Parker and Karesa Derricks; brothers, Fred and James; sisters, Clarise, Rhoda, and Adina as well as numerous beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Henrietta Thomas and Charlie Matthew; and his son, Keith Thomas.

A viewing will be held on Thursday July 6th from 12PM to 1PM with a Funeral Service to begin at 1PM at the Haisley Funeral Home Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34984. Burial will follow at Rolling Oaks Cemetery.
