Thomas “Tommy” Patrick Boyd
Tommy was born on November 27th, 1959 in Mineola, New York and passed away on September 16, 2022 in Miami, Florida.
Tommy is survived by his wife Lisa and two daughters, Mallory and Cara, his brother Steven Boyd (Eileen), sisters Susan Lamoreaux (Steven), Patricia Robichaud (Roger), and Jennifer Biondi (Frank), son-in-laws, Michael Waech and Christopher Baker, and cats Tinky, Kuuki, and Chunky. Tommy is predeceased his mother Gloria Boyd, father William Boyd, younger sister Deborah Schneider (Harold), and father-in-law William Laghezza (Patricia).
Tommy grew up on Long Island, NY and graduated from Brentwood High School in 1977. He was a lifelong entrepreneur, owning/operating multiple successful general contracting businesses on Long Island, New York and then in south Florida, where he relocated with his family in 1997. Tommy was extremely knowledgeable in his field and exhibited a work ethic admired by many. He was highly regarded and well-liked by everyone he met.
Tommy loved his wife and two daughters, going above and beyond to provide anything he could for them. Tommy enjoyed living life to the fullest, always providing his family with wonderful vacations and travel experiences. He was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast and took pride in owning and riding his two Harleys- Road King Classic ’06 and Street Glider. He was an avid collector of all Harley-Davidson limited edition apparel. He loved his tattoos, rock ‘n’ roll concerts, attending Miami Heat basketball games, and his beloved cats.
Tommy was a straight shooter and a softy at heart. He touched those around him with his calm and easy-going personality. Tommy was truly the most generous person one could meet. He was a dedicated husband, father, brother, uncle, mentor, and friend, who is now at peace. He will be very deeply missed and will always remain in our hearts.
