Thomas L. Campbell, 70, passed away at Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Florida on Sunday, May 21, 2017. Born in Wheeling, West Virginia, Tom moved to Fort Pierce in 1987 with his young family to pursue his law career and a life with no snow.
Tom was a jack of all trades and a master of many. He owned his own service station in his early 20's, became a police officer when his son was an infant, then worked in a steel mill before deciding in his early 30's to finish college and attend law school. He enjoyed a successful law practice, and in his retirement became a courier for Martin Health Systems.
Tom loved his family and spending time with them. He was an avid golfer, and a dedicated Pittsburg Steelers and Florida Gators fan. He enjoyed working with his hands: tinkering on projects in the garage, fixing cars, and building things. Tom had a beautiful and contagious smile that he shared with everyone he met. He was a natural born teacher, mentor and friend to so many, and he will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Chris; son Tom, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; daughter Carin and husband Bryan Smith and their sons Luke and Cole of Fort Pierce; brother, Timothy and wife Kathleen of Wheeling, West Virginia; brother Michael of Moundsville, West Virginia.
