Thomas Coleman Moriarty, Jr., 82, died July 2, 2011 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Moriarty was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts and moved to Fort Pierce 11 years ago coming from Westport, Massachusetts.
He was a Veteran of the United States Navy, was a member for 60 years of the Local Union 223 IBEW, founding member of the Adamsville, Rhode Island Historical Society, and was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Little Compton, Rhode Island.
Survivors include his wife of 5 years, Betty Moriarty of Ft. Pierce, FL; son Thomas Moriarty, III of Fort Myers Beach, FL; daughters Maryjane Cummins of New Bedford, MA and Paula Mederois of Loveland, CO; sons Edward Moriarty of Dartmouth, MA and Terry Moriarty of Assonet, MA; brother Edward of Syracuse, NY; sisters Emily and Patricia both of FL; step-daughters Linda Gustafson of Providence, RI and Mardi Lynne Russell of Westport , MA; 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Services: A Mass of Christian burial will be held July 8, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Little Compton, RI. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery in Little Compton, RI.
