Thomas Paul “Tom” Dickson, 59, passed away on August 11, 2022 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Dickson was born on February 25, 1963 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to parents Donald Dallas Dickson and Christine Taylor.
When he was younger, he was involved in 4-H and traveled the world with his family. The family also raised over 60 guide dogs. Tom went on to graduate from Penn State before becoming a quality specialist with the USDA in Washington for 34 years before retiring. Earlier this year, he and his wife of 27 years, E. Ellen Dickson, made the move from Easton, Maryland to Fort Pierce, Florida.
Tom loved the Florida weather, golfing, grilling, hunting, fishing, and drinking craft beer. Thomas enjoyed being with his family and friends and relaxing at home, but he especially loved giving his family a hard time and had a wicked sense of humor.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, E. Ellen Dickson of Fort Pierce, FL; daughter, Christann Dickson of Fort Pierce, FL; son, Adam T. Dickson of Fort Pierce, FL; and brother, David S. Dickson of Australia.
