Thomas Gus DeStefano, 70, died August 31, 2005 in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.Mr. DeStefano was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Port Saint Lucie 10 years ago coming from Puerto Rico.He was a retired auto mechanic with the city of New York.He was a member of the St. Lucie Catholic Church, Astoria Civic Association and was a Port Saint Lucie Police Department Volunteer.Survivors include his wife, Edith DeStefano of Port St. Lucie, FL; brother, Vincent De Stefano of Port St. Lucie, FL; sister, Christina Forcina of Charlotte, NC; nephews, Martin, John and Anthony Forcina, Louie, Tommy and Philip DeStefano; niece, Denise E.
