Thomas Howard Gorman
Thomas Howard Gorman, age 93, died on September 25, in Port St. Lucie, FL. He was born in New Haven, CT, and moved to Port St. Lucie in 1979, coming from Jensen Beach.
He was an inspector for an aircraft company. He served in the US Army, and took part in the Normandy Invasion under General Patton. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Captain. He was a life member of the VFW, was a member of the Elk’s Club, and St. Andrews Church in Fort Pierce.
He is survived by his wife, of 67 years, Marquerite Gorman of Port St. Lucie; his sons, Howard Gorman of North Palm Beach, and Robert J. Gorman of Fort Pierce; his daughter, Judith Gorman of Port St. Lucie; brother, James Gorman of Atlanta, GA, sister, Margaret Cosgrove, of Colchester, CT; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kimberly Gerrish.
