Thomas A. “Tom” Murphy III, 77, died September 6, 2023 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mr. Murphy was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida.

Tom worked for the St. Lucie County School Board for 37 years before retiring in July of 2008.  He loved doing stocks, making essential oils and fragrances, working on his computer, and his dogs.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Tammy Murphy of Fort Pierce, FL; sisters, Judy (Harold) Turner and Sharon Peacock both of Kenansville, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom & Polly Murphy, son, Thomas Murphy IV, and sister, Patty Center.
