Mr. Petrucelli graduated from Rye High School, received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Ithaca College, Department of Music and his Masters Degree in Music at Suny, Potsdam; served three and one half years in World War II with the Army Air Force Special Services; retired from Carthage Central School in 1979, after teaching music for 28 years; was a member of the New York State Retired Teachers’ Association; a past member of St. James Catholic Church, the Carthage Elks Club and the Carlowden Country Club where he was an avid golfer. He played in area dance bands and enjoyed gardening, carpentry and spent 27 summers at “The Elms” on Henderson Bay.
He married Marlyn Janice Benedict on July 6, 1952 at the Church of the Resurrection, Rye, New York.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years Marlyn Benedict Petrucelli of Port St. Lucie, Fl; brother, Leonard F. Petrucelli of Rye, New York; sisters Helen Petrucelli Cardone of Greenwich, Ct, Mary Petrucelli Croce of Rye, New York and Aida Petrucelli Donnelly of Rye New York.
