Buddy Steen, age 63, died in Fort Pierce, FL on March 20, 2011. He was born in Bennettsville, SC and moved to Fort Pierce in 1974, coming from High Point, NC.
He was a foreman for a PVC pipe manufacturer. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War, enjoyed fishing and was a NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Deborah Steen of Fort Pierce; his son, Steve Steen of Jacksonville; daughter, Lisa Self of Fort Pierce, sisters; Frances Davis and Lucy Puckett, both of Fort Pierce; brother, Jerry Steen of SC; and 2 grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospices of the Treasure Coast, 5000 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.
A funeral service will be held at 2PM, on Thursday, March 24, at Haisley Funeral Home Chapel, with Chaplain David Thompson officiating, burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
