Thomas C. Tanner, 68, passed away on April 15, 2022, in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Thomas was born in Albany, New York on August 13, 1953, to parents Melford and Elizabeth Tanner. He attended a vocational welding school and went on to work at Southern Culvert. On July 06, 1974, he married Elaine Wagner, with whom he had two children. Thomas was also a member of both the Immanuel Baptist Church and the Bible Baptist Church. In his free time, he greatly enjoyed watching sports.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elaine Tanner; daughter, Jennifer Tanner; son, Charles Tanner, all of Fort Pierce, Florida; sister, Gloria Jean Bookmiller and a host of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Melford L. Tanner; mother, Elizabeth M. Tanner; his brothers, William Tanner, and Donald L. Tanner; his sister Alice Milgate.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 2:00-3:00 PM with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
