Tina N. (Downie) Quick, 67, of Ft. Pierce, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, Ft. Pierce.
She was born March 3, 1951, in Miami, the daughter of the late Norman E. and Jessie (Blanchard) Downie. She has been a resident of Ft. Pierce since 1982, moving here from Miami.
Mrs. Quick had spent some time as a caregiver both as a profession and with her family, with whom she loved spending time with and being it's backbone. She also loved NASCAR and was a devoted fan of #24 Jeff Gordon, much to the dismay of her husband.
Tina is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert I. Quick, Jr. of Ft. Pierce; a daughter, Tracy L. Quick of Ft. Pierce; grandchildren, Taylor B. Frier and Shane D. Black both of Ft. Pierce; great grandchildren, Sydney S. Frier and Tyler J. Frier both of Ft. Pierce; a sister, Charmaine D. Morris of Miami and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Robin Q. Black and granddaughter, MacKenzie S. Black, both of Ft. Pierce who passed in 2002; a brother, Norman Downie of Miami and sister May Parrish of Ft. Pierce.
