Todd E. Evans

Todd Eric Evans, 62, passed away on December 2, 2020 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mr. Evans was born in Wabash, Indiana and moved to Florida in 1968.
Prior to retiring at the rank of Engineer, Todd worked for the St. Lucie County Fire Department for over 20 years. He was proud of his family and his grandchildren. Todd was a devoted member of Discovery Church in Fort Pierce where he loved serving the Lord in all aspects.

Todd had a big heart for helping others. He was a member of the Southern Baptist Convention Disaster Relief group where he was always found on the front lines working cleaning up after Hurricanes and helping others in need. He also did a lot of missionary work in the Dominican Republic.

In his free time he enjoyed 4-wheeling, fishing, camping and RVing with his family. He loved traveling and collecting “his” treasures.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Cindy Evans; daughter, Erica (Charlie) Carew; son, Nathan (Jennifer) Evans, mother and step-father, Karen (Charlie) Guccione, brother, Cole (Tammy) Evans; sister, Lisa (Rick) Porth; all of Fort Pierce, FL and grandchildren, CJ, Logan, and Kaden Carew and Sarah and James Evans. He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, William (Marge) Evans and brother, Kim Evans.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations in Todd’s name made to Discovery Church 4441 South 25th Street, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.

Services: A gathering of family and friends will take place at Discovery Church in Fort Pierce on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 10-11 AM with a memorial to follow at 11 AM.
