Tom Clark died on May 12, 2023 of complications of esophageal cancer.  Hew was born in August 1946 in Stuart, Iowa and was a Vietnam era Navy vet stationed in San Diego for 3 years.  He graduated from the Nashville Auto Diesel School in 1972 and enjoyed working as a boat mechanic at Harbortown for 3 companies over the past 30 years.  He could make any boat go smoothly through the water.  As much as he loved the sea, he enjoyed figuring out how to fix and repair boats even more. They were a puzzle of a thousand parts.  He loved dance and theater and danced for years with Joy Gould and the Gould Time Dancers. 

He leaves behind a wife, Cecelia Sayles Clark and a daughter, Summer Clark.  He is predeceased by his son, Sheldon Clark, another Navy vet and a foster son, Christopher O’Shields, a Marine vet. 

His ashes will go under a live oak tree he chose several years ago.  In lieu of a memorial service, please go have a coffee or a beer with a friend. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.  An online guest book may be signed at www.haisleyfuneralhome.com
