Tommy K. Roberson, 71, of Ft. Pierce, passed on Sunday, August 27, 2017, at his home in Ft. Pierce.
He was born June 10, 1946, in Wilsonville, AL, the son of the late George and Ecna (Hosey) Roberson. He was a long time resident of Ft. Pierce, coming here from Wilsonville, AL in 1967. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy, serving aboard the USS Walker during the Vietnam War. He had received the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a cement truck driver for Tarmac, which is now Titan America.
Mr. Roberson was a Miami Dolphin fan and had been a coach for Ft. Pierce National Little League. Above all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Connie (Coffman) Roberson of Ft. Pierce; a son, James V. Roberson of Ft. Pierce; a daughter, Kimberly A. Mulla of Beavercreek, OH; grandsons, Jeremy C. Roberson and Cody J. Roberson, both of Ft. Pierce, and Ian A. Mulla of Beavercreek. OH; a granddaughter, Emma E. Mulla of Beavercreek, OH, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Nathan A. Roberson of Ft. Pierce, who died in 2014.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 2, 2017, from 1-2pm in the Chapel of the Haisley Funeral Home, 3015 Okeechobee Rd., Ft. Pierce, followed by services at 2pm in the Chapel with the Rev. Craig Bridgers, officiating. Reception will follow at the Haisley Reception Hall.
