Valorie “Val” Mae Rockwood, 74, passed away February 17, 2021 in Port Saint Lucie, FL.
Val was born in Marquette, Michigan on February 14, 1947 to Donald and Beatrice Kitson and graduated from Elyria High School in 1965.
She enjoyed bingo, watching movies, and spending quality time with her grandchildren.
Val was a member of the United States Bowling Congress for many years and even shared her knowledge and skills of the sport by coaching the childrens bowling league.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, James A. Rockwood of Port Saint Lucie, FL; Daughter’s, Jcqueline “Jackie” Brown of Fort Pierce, FL and Michelle Donahue of Acworth, GA; Son, Jason Rockwood of Fletcher, NC; Brother, Donald Kitson of Saint Petersburg, FL as well as many loving grandchildren. Val was predeceased by her parents, Donald, and Beatrice Kitson.
