On December 26, 2023, Van Allen Osteen with his family by his side, passed away peacefully.

Van Allen Osteen “Vano the Mano” born in Fort Pierce, Florida on October 17, 1963, to the late Allen R. Osteen and Kathryn Joy Norvell. Van worked in lawn service since his early teenage years and was an avid guitarist and musician.

Van was a devoted husband of 37 years to his wife and soulmate, Kathleen Marie Osteen.  

Van is survived by his son, Zack (Valeri) Osteen, brothers William “Billy” and Charles “Chuck” Osteen, and Grandchildren Mariah, Jensen, Jaxon, Jayce and Mila Osteen.

Preceded in death by his son, Clayton Osteen, mother; Kathryn Norvell-Osteen, Father; Allen Osteen, Grandfather; John R. Norvell, Grandmother; Vivian Estelle Norvell, Uncles; Charles Lanie Norvell, Jack Norvell and Aunts Vivian “Roonie” Norvell.

To know Van was to love him. He was kind, strong, and always had a sense of humor and was willing to help anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by so many.
