Vera Picos, 74, died February 21, 2018 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mrs. Picos was born in Starke, Florida and moved to Fort Pierce over 70 years ago.
She worked for Nevins Packing House. She was involved in the Missionettes with the Assembly of God Church, member of the American Legion, VFW, and the Eagle Auxillary. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, sewing and crafts.
Survivors include her daughters, Debra (Jeff) Labigang of Fort Pierce, FL and Bridget (Chris) Heierman of Fort Pierce, FL; step-son, Bernie (Lois) Picos of Fort Pierce, FL; brothers, Joe (Eloise) Clark and Monroe (Hazel) Clark; sister, Janice (Chuck) Labigang; grandchildren, Charlie Labigang, Johnathan (Amanda) Labigang, Jeremy (Taylor) Labigang, Justus Labigang, Cadence Heierman, Kristina Heierman, Cindy Picos, Patricia Wise, Daniel Baldwin, Philip Baldwin and Benjamin Picos; great-granddaughter, Madison Labigang. She was preceded in death by her husband, B.G. Picos, daughter, Mary Baldwin, son, Billy Baldwin, grandson, Joseph Baldwin, parents, Frank & Louette Clark, two sisters, Violet and Betty and one brother, Carl.
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park.
