Vicki Lynn (Thompson) Winterstein, age 64, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed on December 17, 2020 after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Over the years since her diagnosis, she served as an educator and a support system for others battling PF. She will finally be reunited in Heaven with her beloved, only child, Seth Titherington, who battled neuroblastoma as a child as well as her parents, H.P. “Bud” Thompson and Barbara “Bobbie” Thompson who recently passed before her.
Vicki is survived by several great aunts, aunts, uncles and cousins from Florida, Georgia, California, and Wisconsin. One of her many caregivers, Evelia Garcia, and family will care for Vicki’s beloved pet, “Issy”. Vicki’s last months were spent at Treasure Coast Hospice and The Brennity. Her best friend, Sheila Markell and Jackie Robinson saw to her wishes in her final days and did the best they could with the restrictions during these tough pandemic times.
A celebration memorial of Vicki’s life will be held on Thursday, January 14th at 2 PM at the Haisley Tribute Center at 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd, Port St. Lucie with Chaplain Harry A. Butsko presiding.
