Virgil Franklin Going, 63, died December 13, 2006 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Virgil was a lifetime resident of Ft. Pierce and Okeechobee.He retired from Bellsouth after 29 years of service. Early in his life, he worked for Piper Aircraft in Vero Bech and coached Ft. Pierce Little League. He was involved with the Port St. Lucie Athletic Association. He enjoyed hunting, building homes, playing poker in “The Shop”, living his life to the fullest and always lending a helping hand.Survivors include his wife, Virginia Going of Ft. Pierce, FL; children, Bob Going of West Palm Beach, FL, Treva (Greg) Gilkey of Ft. Pierce, FL and Rhonda (Kyle) Bradfield of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandchildren, Christopher, Scott and Joshua; loving friends, Jim & Raeann Wallace of Port St. Lucie, FL and Hugh & Barbara Weaver of Hudson, NY; canine companion, Nikki; he was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Going and brother, Roy Going.
